Animal Snuggle Cap (Mouse Cap)

Animal baby caps are the most adorable stuff that you can put on a baby and make them look cuter and cuddlier than they already are :P

I went to my friend's place for this past weekend and we decided to make some crochet hats together. She especially liked this cute mouse baby cap and we started off immediately even before looking at the instructions clearly. We sure had a hard time understanding them later on... especially bcoz neither of us is an expert in crochet !! Also, since we had to do trial and error several times to understand what they meant, we crocheted late into the night :( and had very little sleep.

Nevertheless, the result of all that effort we put in, is shown in this pic and we are quite proud of it.

Its actually white in color - with pink ears
and pink trimming on the sides.
I did not find much time to take pics when I was doing the cap. So if I attempt it next time (which I highly doubt), then I will make sure to take pics !! But I am sure it will look super cute on a baby :)

Mile-A-Minute Scarf

I found this pattern when I bought Redheart yarn. I am not trying to advertise / promote yarns here but Redheart always gives away a free pattern on the back of the yarn cover.  Its called a Mile-A-Minute scarf because it builds up very fast. I took around 3 hours tops to make this scarf, and I am a beginner and I work very slowly. Also, this is another reversible scarf pattern that I found that was cute and doable. I am still debating on who looks good in this scarf, which I am going to decide soon enough, but as of now, there are no owners :)

Bavarian Crochet / Catherine Wheel / Yarn Eater Baby Blanket

I came across this pattern for a very gorgeous beautiful Bavarian crochet pattern when I was looking for baby blanket patterns for my sisters baby. At that time I knew my sister had a girl baby, and this seemed the perfect gift for the baby. I started off with a few yarns that I had bought during my Chickpet visit. When I started off with the blanket, I did not think much about how the rounds in the pattern would grow considerably bigger after every two rows. After two rows with each color, the woolen seemed not enough for more rows. They got over pretty soon. So I had to go shopping again for more yarn. This time I found pretty and bright colors which seemed perfect for a baby blanket and also I looked for multiple shades in the same colors. Here are some pics of the yarns I bought and the WIP blanket. Will update the post again when the entire blanket is done. Please leave your email ID in the comments section if you want the pattern.   More pics are yet to come - t
